Trisha Beiermann MSN, RN is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Creighton University. Her research focuses on undergraduate nursing education and designated education units utilized in the clinical setting. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Nebraska Methodist College. Before teaching in academia, she was a nurse in the hospital setting, fulfilling roles in nursing education, nursing leadership, and patient care in Nebraska and Colorado. Mrs. Beiermann is currently involved in a scholarly project that is focused on the use of AI chatbots in training nursing students how to navigate difficult conversations. She is also currently working in scholarship focused on rural healthcare and the opportunities for nurses in those hospital settings. She has received multiple classroom and clinical excellence awards from her students and was recognized as a 40 Under 40 Nominee in 2018. Her passion for education and collaborative research will continue to enhance student learning opportunities.
