

A new pilot program is giving Creighton University pharmacy students the chance to explore career pathways in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry while earning academic credit.
Offered through the Medical Affairs Competency Certificate (MACC) program developed by the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), the pilot provides students firsthand insight into a fast-growing area of the industry.
“Through this pilot program, we’re offering students a new way to explore competitive roles in the pharmaceutical industry,” said Amy Wilson, PharmD, dean of the Creighton School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. “It’s part of our broader commitment to preparing future professionals who are both highly skilled and ready to meet the demands of an evolving healthcare environment.”
Through seven modules, participants build professional knowledge and skills that support postgraduate fellowships and industry careers.
