

Ashley Carroll, MPH, serves as market director of healthy communities and population health for CHI Health and the Institute for Population Health. In her IPH role, she works at the intersection of the University, the health system, and the community, aligning resources and expertise to maximize population health impact. She leads community health needs assessments (CHNA) and population health initiatives that address root causes of disparate outcomes. She supports local, state and federal policy and advocacy related to access to care, the healthcare workforce and the social determinants of health.
Carroll earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She was the inaugural recipient of the Nebraska Public Health Defender Award in 2022 and was named to the Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2024.
