Dr. Holly Chandler, EdD, CRNA, FAANA is the Program Administrator for the Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Anesthesia (DNP-NA) Program at Creighton University College of Nursing (CON). She holds an EdD in Education with an emphasis in nursing education from Bryan College of Health Sciences, a MS in nurse anesthesia from Mount Marty College, a BS in Health Care Management from Bellevue University, and an ASN from College of Saint Mary. Dr. Chandler’s projects include creating action research in the redesign of the Nebraska Nursing Workforce Survey which has been and is vital to the Center for Nursing in projecting nursing staffing in Nebraska. She has served as a past president of the Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NANA), contributed as an intern to strategic planning for both the Board of Nursing (BON) and Advanced Practice Nursing (APRN) boards in Nebraska. Dr. Chandler has presented her research on incivility and bullying both regionally and nationally. Dr. Chandler is honored as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and has been recognized by NANA for her advocacy with the Advocate of the Year Award. Dr. Chandler’s initiatives and research seeks to enhance and improve the nursing workforce through data tracking and advocacy and seeks to improve interprofessional collaboration, education, and communication impacting health professions, education, patient care, and the anesthesia profession.
