Dr. Chehal is a professor and Chairholder in the department of Oral Health Promotions. She joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry in the fall of 2009. In 2009 she earned a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. She earned her American DDS at Creighton University. She has co-authored several articles in referred Journals. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and has been awarded The Dr. Oscar S. Belzer endowed chair in dentistry in 2015. Currrently, she is an interim chair of th edepartment of Oral Health Promotions.
