Dr. Coppard is a Professor of Occupational Therapy in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.   Dr. Coppard is a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission and the American Council on Education.  She holds a BA from Creighton University, a MS in Occupational Therapy from Rush University and a PhD in Higher Educational Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Dr. Coppard teaches courses in the entry-level and post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral program.  She has over 30 years of experience in teaching health professions, both in traditional, hybrid and online formats.  Her research interests include student debt, educational outcomes, issues related to the American professoriate, and academic chair role.
