Catherine A. Enenbach, MSN, RN, C-EFM

Instructor

Catherine A. Enenbach, MSN-Ed, RN, C-EFM, BA, is an Instructor in the College of Nursing at Creighton University. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Nurse Educator) from Nebraska Methodist College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University, and Bachelor of Arts in History from Washburn University. Enenbach is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Healthcare and Leadership at Nebraska Methodist College, with expected completion in July 2026.  

She maintains clinical practice at Methodist Women's Hospital in Labor and Delivery/High-Risk Obstetrics. Her research focuses on maternal and child health, clinical simulation in healthcare education, and improving patient outcomes in obstetric and neonatal care. Recent scholarly projects include developing high-fidelity simulations for first responders and studying maternal sleep disturbances related to hospital rooming-in policies, with results shared at national and international conferences. Her honors include the Nebraska Nurses Association 40 Under 40 Award and the Positive Image of Nursing Award.  

Enenbach actively contributes to her community through volunteer work. She has served with organizations such as Project Harmony, Children’s Nebraska, Omaha Children’s Museum Guild, and The Rose Theater, where she has held leadership roles and helped organize fundraising and outreach events.
