Why do you think Creighton is special? As a former Creighton student, the community is like no other. It’s a welcoming environment with genuine and driven students who come from all over. The faculty and staff have your back and support you through thick and thin to ensure you walk that stage as a Creighton graduate.
Do you have any special advice or tips for applicants? Schedule a visit to come and see the campus! It’s an excellent way to see everything that Creighton has to offer its students while also experiencing Omaha. On top of that, you get the chance to speak to an admissions counselor or other faculty if you have any specific questions about the university.
What do you like about Omaha, and what are your favorite secret spots? I always say that Omaha is a city full of opportunities. There are plenty of things to do around town with friends and family, such as attending concerts at CHI Health Center, trying the diverse food options or visiting the Farmer’s Market on weekends. I never find myself bored because there’s always something going on!
My favorite spot in Omaha is the Riverfront. It’s a beautiful location for a run/walk by yourself, as it’s home to the Gene Leahy Mall, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and the Heartland of America Park. The Luminarium is nearby, and it’s a great place to spend time with friends, thanks to its interactive science demonstrations for visitors.
