Rebecca Kinnison, OTD, OTR/L, BCPR

Assistant Professor

 Dr. Kinnison is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in neurological rehabilitation. She is an Assistant Professor and an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at Creighton University, beyond the classroom, she mentors in the Neurology Fellowship and moderates the Interprofessional Neurological Rehabilitation Organization. In her coordinator role, she supports students through the placement and advising process for Level I, Level II, and Capstone fieldwork rotations—helping to shape transformative clinical learning experiences.

Board certified in physical rehabilitation, Becky is deeply involved in professional leadership, interprofessional education and advocacy. She currently serves as the Vice President of NeuroRehabilitation for the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association (NOTA), and is a member of both the Nebraska State Stroke Task Force Rehabilitation Committee and the Nebraska Stroke Education Planning Committee. In these roles, she contributes to stroke education, advances neurological treatment programming, and promotes evidence-based care for individuals with neurological conditions.
