Anastasia Kyvelidou, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Department. Dr. Kyvelidou graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her doctorate from the Medical Sciences Interdepartmental Area (MSIA). She has completed two post-doctoral fellowships at Northeastern University in Boston and in the Biomechanics Department at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where she was also an assistant professor. Dr. Kyvelidou‘s research focuses on neuro-developmental disabilities during infancy and childhood. Her most recently funded projects aim to discover why equine therapy is an efficient treatment for children with Autism Specturm Disorders (ASD).
