Kat Nath is an Instructor at Creighton University College of Nursing, based in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education and is currently completing her EdD in Education/Leadership, expected in August 2025. Kat's scholarly project examines the impact of intentional self-care practices on mitigating incivility among nurses. Her research is situated within the broader field of nursing professional development, addressing critical issues of well-being and workplace dynamics that impact patient care and nurse retention. Professor Nath envisions contributing to the academic community by developing evidence-based strategies to promote nurse resiliency, fostering healthier work environments, and advocating for policies that support nurse well-being, thereby improving the quality and sustainability of the nursing workforce.
