Graphic Medicine: Comics, Care, and Work of Justice By MK Czerwiec, RN, MA - Opening Reception

MK Czerwiec, RN, MA is a nurse, cartoonist, and educator who uses comics to reflect on the complexities of illness and caregiving. MK will engage in workshops with the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, Youth Emergency Services (YES), Creighton University College of Arts and Sciences, College of Nursing, and School of Medicine students. These collaborations, as well as her individual works and those of other artists within the field of graphic medicine, will be on view in the gallery.
