Returning Students

Welcome Back to Campus!

We hope that you have had a successful and rewarding study abroad experience. Sharing your experience and telling other students about study abroad is a great way to keep your experience alive. The GEO is always interested in hearing about your adventures abroad. We encourage you to make an appointment with a Global Programs Advisor to chat about your recent experience.

After Your Study Abroad Experience

  • Submit your Photos and Videos to the GEO!  If you took a great photo (or twenty) during your travels, we encourage you to submit them to studyabroadadvisor@creighton.edu.  Photos of you in your host country or landscape/scenery shots are all welcome entries!
  • Volunteer!  Volunteer to be part of a past participant panel, to participate in New International Student Orientation, or to staff a table at the Study Abroad Fair.  Additional volunteer opportunities for returned study abroad students can be found at the SCSJ.  A call will be sent out at the start of each Fall semester for new Peer Ambassadors.
  • Become a Student Buddy for incoming exchange students!  Please e-mail studyabroadadvisor@creighton.edu to volunteer to act as a Creighton "buddy", host, and mentor to an incoming exchange student.  This is a great opportunity to continue your intercultural experience after you return to Omaha.
