Fitness Classes and Personal Training to Fit Your Needs

Physical activity and connections with your peers are essential to holistic wellness, and Creighton is proud to offer a variety of fitness programs that provide both.

Whether you want focus and relaxation through yoga, a high-intensity workout or personalized training to meet specific goals, we have what you’re looking for! Creighton students have access to several fitness options.

Group Fitness Classes for Every Interest and Skill Level

Creighton Recreation and Wellness offers 40+ energizing classes per week, on our Omaha campus, for all fitness levels. Our certified instructors are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive fitness community for all.

We provide classes for everyone, from beginners to experienced exercisers. Students can attend as many classes as they’d like with a group fitness pass. Full-access passes are $25 per semester, and drop-in passes are $8.

Students can easily purchase a pass in the Recreation and Wellness office during business hours or online. Students can also organize private group classes.

Personalized Plans and One-on-One Training

Gain a deeper understanding of exercise, exercise equipment and your physical health. Whether you want to lose weight, gain strength, train for sports performance or improve your overall health, Creighton’s Certified Personal Trainers can help. Creighton students can take advantage of affordable prices, knowledgeable staff and easy accessibility. Choose from:

  • One-on-one training. Your trainer will create an individualized exercise program based on your unique goals. Prices range from $30 for one session to $490 for a set of 24 sessions.
  • Bluejay Fitness programming. A 4-week customized workout program designed by a Certified Personal Trainer around your fitness goals. You will have an initial consultation with your trainer. The cost is $85 for six weeks.

Wellness Programs

Through weekly and monthly programs hosted by Recreation and Wellness, students are invited to care for their physical, mental and emotional well-being in fun, approachable ways. Grab a free smoothie after a quick spin on the Fender Blender Pro during Tuesday’s Blender Bike event, or stop by the Keiwit Fitness Center on Fresh Fruit Fridays to fuel up and learn more about current wellness offerings. Mindful Mondays provide a space to slow down and reset for the week ahead, and monthly events—from bouquet-making to sport-themed socials—organized by our student wellness coordinators offer creative ways to connect and recharge.
