Teaching, Learning and Assessment Resources

Creighton University exists for students and learning. The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) at Creighton University offers comprehensive resources for teaching, learning, and assessment.
Being in person with others to discuss teaching and learning was valuable. Again, I liked seeing different instructional strategies being put into practice and hearing from faculty on how they do things.

Funding Opportunities: Grants & Award

The Center for Faculty Excellence is dedicated to supporting faculty in their professional growth and development. We offer several  funding opportunities designed to enhance teaching and student learning. These include grants for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, which supports research into effective teaching practices, and the eLearning Innovation Grant, which encourages the integration of innovative technologies into the classroom.

Additionally, we recognize outstanding contributions through the Distinguished Educator in Teaching as Scholarship award, celebrating faculty who excel in both teaching and scholarly activities.

Our goal is to empower faculty to explore new pedagogical approaches and improve the educational experience for all students. Whether a new or seasoned faculty member, the CFE invites faculty to take advantage of these funding and recognition resources to advance their teaching and scholarship and celebrate their contributions to the field of innovative teaching.

This was a great first grant experience as a novice faculty. It was a great way to implement change into the curriculum and was beneficial for the experience of the student.
— Megan Falke DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, College of Nursing recipient of eLearning Innovation Grant
