Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging at Creighton University

Accessible, Sustainable Charging for the Omaha-Based Creighton Community

Creighton is committed to supporting sustainable transportation by offering electric vehicle (EV) charging options on and near our Omaha campus. Please review the following guidelines to ensure proper use of these facilities.

On-Campus Charging

Creighton’s EV charging station is located at the southeast corner of 25th Ave. and Cuming Street—lot 58, a student and employee parking lot.

Charging is available to parking permit holders during business hours and to the wider public after hours and on weekends.

  • Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.–4 p.m. A valid Creighton parking permit (purchased through JayPark) is required for usage. Evening-only permits are excluded.
  • All other times and weekends. Open to all users. No permit required.

  • Enforcement: Vehicles in violation may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.
  • University-Only Stations: Some chargers are reserved for use by university fleet vehicles only.
  • No Outlet Charging: Do not use standard wall outlets on campus to charge personal EVs.
