Getting Around With our Shuttles

Creighton offers a free shuttle service that stops not only around our Omaha campus, but also in some neighborhoods west of campus. We also offer free after-hours transportation with JayRide. Learn about all these options below.

About Our Free Shuttle Services

Shuttle services follow the undergraduate academic calendar and are not available on undergraduate breaks and holidays. The East and West Routes connect key academic, residential, and recreational areas, as well as the adjoining Gifford Park neighborhood.  To reach shuttle drivers, call 402.546.8294; if you cannot reach them, call Public Safety at 402.280.2104.

The East Campus Shuttle runs during the following times:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.

There is no service during the following maintenance breaks:

  • 10:45-11:05 a.m.
  • 7:10-7:30 p.m.

Please arrive early at the shuttle stop. Actual departure times will vary slightly due to traffic and weather conditions. Departures are listed as minutes past the hour. In addition to the timetable below, you can view the East Campus route map.

  • Saturday-Sunday: 5 - 11 p.m.

There is no service during the shuttle’s maintenance break: 7:25-7:45 p.m.

The Werner Shuttle runs Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. Shuttle Stages at LOT 98 making round trips to the Werner Building.

The CHI Health Clinic – Student Care Clinic at 2412 Cuming St is open on Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The CHI Health Priority Clinic, which is an Urgent Care model at the same location, is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The clinic is serviced by the Werner/CHI Health Clinic Shuttle Route, which operates from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, stopping at the north entrance to the clinic. During shuttle operating hours, students should use the shuttle to travel to and from the clinic.

For non-emergency transportation to and from the clinic outside shuttle operating hours, contact Public Safety at 402.280.2104. The dispatcher will send a vehicle to your location. If you use a wheelchair, please tell the dispatcher. Allow up to 30 minutes for the vehicle to arrive.

JayRide

This free transportation service runs from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Fridays and 11 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday through Thursday. Transportation is offered anywhere within the area bound by Dodge and Cuming streets, from 15th to 38th streets. To receive a ride, please call 402.546.8294.
